2. Website hosting through Vercel

Our website is delivered through Vercel. When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data may be processed, in particular the IP address, request time, requested resource, browser and system information and response status, in order to provide the website securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in secure and efficient delivery of our website.

3. Instruction video through Vercel Blob

Our own MP4 instruction video may be delivered through Vercel Blob. When a user plays or loads the video, technically required access data is processed for delivery of the media file. We use this approach to provide instructions without embedding third-party video platforms.

4. Checkout, payments and licensing through Lemon Squeezy

Purchases, subscriptions, invoices, payments and license key delivery are handled using Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for purchases and processes data required for checkout and order fulfilment, including name, email address, payment, order, subscription and license information.

5. License validation in the desktop app

The desktop app communicates with the Lemon Squeezy License API to activate and validate a license. This processing includes the license key, license status, the platform (Windows or macOS) and a neutral locally generated installation identifier. The identifier does not contain the user's computer name and is used only to distinguish licensed installations and enforce device limits. Following a successful online validation, the app may be used offline for up to two days.

6. Local video processing

Videos processed with Streamix Studio Auto Cut remain on the user's device. Streamix Studio does not upload those video files to our servers.

7. Email support and support logs

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and voluntarily attached files to respond to your request. Support logs are generated locally by the desktop app and are only received by us if a user voluntarily sends them by email.

8. Language preference

Your chosen website language (German or English) may be stored locally in your browser so the preferred language is displayed on a later visit. This storage is used only for that comfort feature and not for analytics or advertising.

9. No analytics or advertising tracking

At launch we do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Vercel Web Analytics or Vercel Speed Insights. If this changes, this policy will be updated and consent obtained where required.

10. Retention and your rights

Personal data is retained only as necessary for its purpose or to comply with legal obligations. Subject to statutory conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
